Healing Light

As a Reiki Master/Teacher, I offer training to all levels of Reiki.  Training courses are normally on a one-to-one basis as I believe this offers most benefit to the student in what can be a very personal and profound journey.  Having been trained in the Usui Shiki Ryoho, as far as is possible my courses follow Mikao Usui's traditional teaching methods.

After each training course, there is a period of 21 day clearing while your whole system adapts to the energy. This can be a period of detoxification and release, and is often a time for letting go of unhealthy patterns of behaviour or long-held emotional blocks.  This is a natural process as your body adjusts to the Reiki energy.

At First and Second Degree levels (Shoden and Okuden), courses are two days long.  As well as instruction  and empowerment to the Reiki healing frequencies during these two days, the course costs include a comprehensive manual and all further support and empowerments. 

At First Degree Level, the focus is very much on the individual.  Reiki is first and foremost to promote self-healing and by default, support you on your personal journey. Only when we have fully integrated the concept of self-healing and daily practice, is it appropriate to offer healing to others.

As well as empowerments to the Reiki frequency, and meditations for self-healing and inner development, the course covers the history and development of Reiki, how to apply it in everyday life and how it can be used to help others. Four empowerments are passed over the two day period, with further empowerments given as appropriate thereafter.

Shoden Course - £150

Second Degree Reiki takes self-healing and our ability to offer healing to others to a new level.  Although the primary focus is still very much on self-healing, in this course we are introduced to further healing frequencies which enhance the Reiki energy and increase our awareness of the connectedness of all things. 

Over the two day course, there are three empowerments given to the new frequencies, as well as further healing and meditation work.  As with Usui Sensei’s original teachings, both sacred symbols and sounds are taught, including their histories and applications.  As satisfactory completion of this level allows the student to practise Reiki, there is a comprehensive study plan to complete after the initial course, as well as regular follow-up training and support.

Okuden Course - £300

Further training to Advanced and Master Levels (Shinpiden and Shihan) is tailored to suit the individual, depending on previous experience.  Please contact me if you are interested in pursuing this or would like more information.
