Thursday, 1st December - Following the positive feedback from the July workshop, I will be offering short taster sessions of Reiki and Indian Head Massage at Women's Aid in Kirkwall, as a pre-Christmas treat. Looking forward to seeing everyone :)
Monday, 11th July - I have the opportunity to teach a Stress Relief and Relaxation Workshop at Women's Aid in Kirkwall. If there is sufficient interest, I would hope to make this a regular event.
Saturday, 8th August - I am holding a Reiki Share/Gathering, in aid of Highland Hospice, in Muir of Ord Village Hall, from 2 - 4pm. As well as giving practitioners of all levels the opportunity to meet and chat with other Reiki healers, there will be healing practice, meditations and mantra - hopefully a relaxing and uplifting afternoon for all concerned :)
Thank you to everyone who came along to the Reiki Share. It was a lovely relaxing afternoon, with lots of chat and a chance to meet new people, as well as practise some mantra and healing. Thanks to your generosity, we raised £70 for Highland Hospice - thank you :)
Saturday, 25th July - the Therapy Tent is becoming a regular fixture at Muir of Ord community events so it is no surprise that we will be running it again at this year's Gala Day. 15 minute taster sessions of Reiki, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage will be on offer at the bargain price of £5! Sunday, 24th May - I have been invited to take part in the first Caithness Wellbeing Festival. The event is to be held at Mackays Hotel, Wick from 10 - 4pm. There will be talks, taster sessions and the chance to chat with many different therapists.
Thank you to Ellie and all at Mackays for a fantastic day. As well as chatting to folk about therapies and how they can help, it was good to be able to offer taster sessions which allowed people to experience the therapies for themselves. As the first event of its kind in the area, there was an excellent turnout and definitely a lot of interest in all that's available to support health and wellbeing. Many thanks to all involved :)
Saturday, 16th May - we will again be running a Health & Wellbeing Day in Muir of Ord Village Hall this year, with all money raised going to Hall funds. The event runs from 12 - 4.30pm. Admission is £5 which entitles you to a 15 minute taster session of any one of a number of therapies - further tasters can be purchased at £5 each, and there will also be a raffle. Therapies on offer include Reiki, Reflexology, Massage, Aurasoma, Bio-resonance therapy, Crystal healing, Jin Shin Jyutsu and Metamorphic technique. Look forward to seeing you there :)

May - as part of an initiative to support pupils make the transition from primary to secondary, I will be offering sessions on relaxation and stress relief at Inverness High School.

Thursday, 13th February - offering free taster session of reiki, reflexology and Indian head massage at a fundraising Pamper Night for Ben Wyvis Primary School in Conon Bridge. Admission is £5 and the evening runs from 7 - 9pm.

Thanks to all at Glen Ord for a fantastic day. There was a great turnout which helped to raised over £1600 for Highland Hospice, and we were kept busy offering tasters to people from all over the world.

Tuesday, 23rd July - as a result of a Stress Survey, I have been asked to run a Stress Relief Workshop for a government agency in Bristol. The aim is to provide practical tools for those taking part so they can understand how stress affects the body and learn to manage it more effectively.

Friday, 7th June - following the success of last year's event, Highland Council are holding another Wellbeing Day at the Kingsmills Hotel to offer help and advice on stress relief and general wellbeing. I will be one of several therapists offering taster sessions of complementary therapies.
Another lovely day at the Kingsmills - nice to meet so many interested people :) Many thanks to the Council Psychology Department and the hotel staff for such a well organised and fun day!

Thanks to all who came along on Saturday, especially in view of the rather damp and chilly weather! We really enjoyed our day and are very grateful to those people who were happy and willing to try the therapies on offer. It was our first 'outdoor' venture but will definitely not be our last :)
Monday, 30th April - As part of the Highland Council's 'Ways to Wellbeing' conference, I will be offering taster sessions of Reiki and reflexology.
A wonderful experience and a very forward thinking conference - many thanks to the Psychology department of the Council for asking me along. The Kingsclub at the Kingsmills Hotel was an excellent venue and a delight to work in. It was lovely to meet so many interested and friendly people - I hope they all felt the benefit of their day :)
Friday, 27th April - I will be one of several therapists offering taster sessions at a Pamper Night in Strathpeffer Community Centre, 7 - 10pm. The night is a charity fundraiser in aid of Girlguiding Ross-shire. Tickets are £10 and include two treatments and refreshments.
Thanks to all who came along and supported the fundraising night - in spite of the the wintry weather! It was a lovely night and great to meet everyone - therapists and clients :) Many thanks to the Guides for asking me along.

We can all benefit from a little help to restore and maintain general health and wellbeing. These sessions will include relaxation and self-help techniques, guided meditations and wellbeing information, all of which can easily be practised at home. Classes are stand alone so you are welcome to come to however many you can.
Classes will be held monthly at Shorelines in Finstown, on Thursdays from 7 - 8.30pm, on the following dates:

In addition to the workshops already decided for this year, I will be offering an Aromatherapy Massage Workshop on Friday, 27th September. The workshop will focus on upper back, neck, shoulder and hand massage; basic techniques and use of essential oils. As usual, a folder with information on all that is covered will be included in the cost.
The workshop will run from 10am - 12.30pm and costs £25 per person.
